Meet the founder
Hi, I'm Kristie Plantinga :)
Originally, I was studying to practice as a therapist, but I didn’t feel ready by the time college was over. I was restless—I felt the need to create, write, and design (and to be honest, I needed a bit more therapy myself!). So, after college, I took some time off to think about what I wanted to do with my time on this earth.
Because of my love for writing and design, I quickly fell into the world of websites and marketing. To pursue my newfound interests, I took the leap and began my Masters in Written Communication at Eastern Michigan University.
Why I'm here
I spent time in the industry as a content strategist, search engine optimization specialist, website production manager, writer, and editor, but it wasn’t long before I caught the entrepreneurial bug. I immediately knew that I wanted to work with therapists, which bridged my passions for marketing and the mental health industry. So, in October 2019, TherapieSEO came into being, and I haven't looked back since.
